Export Calendars as CSV
BusyCal for iOS can export events from one or more calendars to a CSV spreadsheet file. The exported file is ideal for analyzing events in apps like Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets — you can sort, filter, and build custom reports from a structured table of event details.
Exporting as CSV
- Open Settings by tapping the gear icon in the upper-left corner.
- Tap Export as CSV.
- Choose one or more calendars to include by tapping them — selected calendars show a checkmark.
- Tap the Export button.
- The iOS share sheet appears so you can save the
.csvfile to Files, AirDrop it to another device, email it, or send it to any other app that accepts files.
What's in the Exported File
Each row in the CSV represents a single event occurrence, and columns cover the core event fields — title, start date/time, end date/time, location, notes, URL, calendar name, and more — in a format that's easy to open in any spreadsheet application.
Importing Events on iOS
BusyCal for iOS focuses on exporting to CSV; to import an .ics calendar file or merge calendars, use BusyCal for Mac. Events imported on the Mac will sync back to your iPhone automatically through the same account.
