How do I declutter Day & Week View?

Quick ways to reduce clutter in Day & Week View​

BusyCal includes several display options that make dense schedules easier to read. Try these settings:

1. Hide times for single-line events​

  1. Go to BusyCal > Settings > Appearance > Accessibility.
  2. Turn off Show event times for single-line events in Day & Week views.

This leaves the event title visible while removing the time stamp on compact, single-line items.

2. Stack overlapping events vertically​

  1. Go to BusyCal > Settings > Appearance.
  2. Enable Disable overlapping layout.

Overlapping events will stack vertically instead of appearing side-by-side, which improves readability in busy hours.

3. Hide notes in Day & Week views​

  1. Go to BusyCal > Settings > Appearance.
  2. Turn off Show Notes in Day and Week Views.
