Why can’t I select “bicycle” for Travel Time (Cycling)?
BusyCal’s Travel Time feature uses routing/directions data to provide ETA suggestions.
BusyCal can show Cycling / Bike travel time when a cycling route is available for the selected locations. If you don’t see a cycling option, it usually means the routing provider can’t calculate a cycling route for that particular origin/destination (for example, due to region coverage, or because the location isn’t a fully structured address).
Troubleshooting
- In the event’s Location field, select a structured address from the suggestions (instead of free-typed text).
- Try a nearby landmark (for example a well-known building name) to confirm cycling routes exist in that area.
- Re-open the Travel Time menu and give it a moment to load route suggestions.
