Quick Fixes to Try First
1. Check Your System Time
Most important step: Google Calendar authentication requires accurate system time.
Mac: System Settings > General > Date & Time > Enable "Set time and date automatically"
iOS: Settings > General > Date & Time > Enable "Set Automatically"
2. Verify All Permissions Were Granted
When connecting to Google Calendar, you must select "Select all" permissions. Missing any permission will cause sync failures.
3. Remove and Re-add Your Google Account
Often the fastest solution for persistent sync issues:
Mac: BusyCal > Settings > Accounts > Select Google account > Click [-] button > Re-add with [+] button
iOS: Settings > Accounts > Tap Google account > Delete Account > Add Account > Google
