A meeting invite disappears after I move it to another calendar

Meeting invitations behave differently than regular events.

If you accept a meeting and then try to move it to a different calendar, many calendar servers treat that as:

1. Deleting the original invite (which can also trigger an unintended Decline), and
2. Creating a new copy on another calendar (which is no longer the original meeting invitation)

As a result, the meeting may revert or appear to “disappear” from BusyCal shortly after you move it.

What to do instead

• Keep the invitation on the calendar where it was originally created/synced.
• Use tags (or BusyCal’s organization features) instead of moving the invite to a new calendar.
