How can I hide meeting invitations from one calendar?

Yes. BusyCal controls meeting notifications for each calendar, so you can see events from all your accounts in one calendar view while choosing which calendars contribute invitations to the BusyCal Inbox.

For example, you can keep a work Microsoft 365 calendar visible in BusyCal but handle its invitations in Outlook.

BusyCal for Mac

  1. Find the calendar in the Calendar List on the left side of the BusyCal window.
  2. Double-click the calendar's name, or Control-click it and choose Get Info.
  3. Turn off Show meeting notifications in Inbox.
  4. Click OK.

The setting applies to each calendar, not the whole account. If the account contains several calendars, repeat these steps for every calendar whose invitations you want to exclude.

BusyCal for iPhone and iPad

  1. Open Settings > Accounts in BusyCal.
  2. Select the calendar account.
  3. Tap Calendars.
  4. Tap the info button next to the calendar.
  5. Under Notifications, turn off Notify Of Meetings.

Repeat these steps for each calendar you want to exclude.

What This Setting Changes

BusyCal continues to sync and display events from the calendar. It stops showing the calendar's meeting invitations and related meeting notices in the BusyCal Inbox or as invitation notifications.

Turning off meeting notifications does not accept, decline, or delete an invitation from the calendar server. The invitation remains available through the calendar provider and other calendar clients, such as Outlook.

Show change notifications in Inbox on Mac, or Notify Of Changes on iPhone and iPad, is a separate setting. Turn it off as well only if you do not want notices when other people add or change non-meeting events on that calendar.
